‘Discover A New Sound’ is a promotional campaign for the digital music app Spotify.
This cross-promotion is meant to introduce different artists and their latest single or album. Visually these posters are meant to represent one ripping back the many layers to discover this ‘new sound’ or artist. The challenge was finding a color palette that was overbearing
and that balanced well with the ambiguity of the ripped photos. The motion design of this poster is a mix of kinetic typography and various music video clips. The artists featured in this campaign were Sunmi, Qveen Herby, and Nao.
